Matthew 11:4
4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:
The times we live in look negative and the pervasive mood seems disabling. Believers as well as unbelievers are under bondage and in derision. Being quarantined and locked down have imprisoned us. Like John the Baptist, believers are looking within their walls only and getting depressed – Look out of your prison because there is good news outside (John 11:4-6).
Jesus answered and said unto the people who came to Him from John, “Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see” – beyond John’s prison walls a great revival was taking place. 7 features of the revival amidst covid-19 pandemic are:
1. PERCEPTION — “The blind receive their sight”. Revelations abound among believers. Many believers today can see into the spiritual realm better than they used to.
2. PROGRESS — “…and the lame walk…” Individuals and organisations are making progress.
3. PURITY — “…the lepers are cleansed…” Holiness is not a lost virtue. There are holy men around.
4. PURPOSE — …and the deaf hear…
People are hearing God’s voice and fulfilling purpose.
Noah sent a dove to look at what was happening outside the prison of the ark. Focus on the Holy Ghost; He knows what is happening outside your prison.
Prayer: Pray and declare your release from any form of bondage.
